WWI Centenary - Gravesham Remembers

 2014 will mark 100 years since the outbreak of the First World War. We would like to add to the virtual museum information relating to the borough during the Great War. Contributions are welcomed in the form of photographs, letters, stories and memories. Did you know?

On 10 August 2003, Gravesend recorded one of the highest temperatures since records began in the UK, with a reading of 38.1 degrees Celsius (100.6 degrees Fahrenheit), only beaten by Brogdale, near Faversham.
